For two nights this past week I joined a class for the second exam in Ham Radio (Amateur Radio).
This second exam, for the "General" license, seems to be about ten times more difficult than the first exam for the "Technician" license.
The General license is needed to utilizer the longer wavelength bands. A radio signal with a longer wave (greater meters, and less megahertz) will travel farther than a shorter wave. Here in Guam, these longer waves are needed to reach other users.
