Typhoon Melor Guam 2009

Typhoon Melor expected to pass by Guam October 3, 2009 north of Saipan.

The Joint Typhoon Warning Center map called "Warning Graphic" showed that on October 3, 2009 at 4 PM Chamorro Time the Typhoon Melor was at its closest past to Guam. This is slightly north of Saipan headed toward Anatahan island. Winds were estimated at 115 Knots, which is about 132 MPH (212 Kilometers per hour).
