Mucuna Research Auburn University

Although I have been searching for information on Velvetbean (Mucuna pruriens) the last two years, I did not know that several researchers at Auburn University in Alabama have been working on it.

Today (17 Feb 2009) I was given an extension bulletin dated 1997 about research on Mucuna pruriens conducted at Auburn University in Alabama. Indeed, a web search revealed 31 web articles by several researchers at Auburn.Edu on Mucuna.

Topics included genetic variability (AFLP testing) and anti-nematicidal properties.
